Yes, I am accepting new clients: I have both in-person and online availability, during daytime hours only. Feel free to reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California LMFT #105852). I have been licensed since 2018 and have been working with clients in various settings (schools, agencies, and private practice) since 2012.
My practice is currently hybrid, meaning I am physically in the office half the week and offering telehealth appointments the other half of the week. At this time my open appointments are between 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
Please note that I am still requiring masks for in-person sessions.
Yes, I am in-network with CalVCB, MHN, and Optum, and currently in process to get re-credentialed with Tricare.
Please call your insurer to make sure you are eligible to self-refer to therapy services (often called "behavioral health"), and that you do not need prior authorization.
To start with telehealth sessions, we go through a similar process as in-person sessions. We will have a short consultation ahead of our first session, if you wish. I will also have you review and complete various forms and paperwork about what's bringing you to therapy, what to expect from therapy, privacy policy, specific considerations for telehealth, and more. We will decide together if telehealth is a good fit for what you are needing. You will need a secure place to meet (where you cannot be overheard or seen by others), as well as a stable internet connection, in order for telehealth therapy to proceed. Telehealth sessions follow a similar format as in-person sessions: we will determine how often we are meeting (once a week, or every 2-3 weeks, depending on your need) and will use a HIPAA-compliant, secure platform to meet.
Note that I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California (LMFT #105852) which means I am able to work with clients who are physically present in California. However, if you are outside of the state, even if it’s just while traveling, I will be unable to meet with you.
Anxiety, depression, and trauma (especially related to intimate partner / family / domestic violence and abuse), as well as more general relational issues and concerns.
I have worked with many people experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as trauma from various experiences. In particular, I have specialized training and experience in working with people of different genders and sexual orientations who have experienced intimate partner / family / domestic violence and abuse. I have also worked extensively with children, adolescents, and their parents in settings ranging from a non-public school, to a community clinic, to private practice.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to see if it feels we would be a good fit. I know therapy works best when you feel comfortable and aligned with the therapist you are working with, so feel free to reach out to schedule a time to speak, if interested. This conversation is not therapy, but a short check in about what you are looking for from therapy and for each of us to evaluate if working together feels like a good fit or not.
To arrange your free 15-minute consultation, please contact me by phone or email: include some times that you are available, and I will get back to you as soon as possible during my office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm).
My focus is on working with young(er) adults, specifically those who identify as Millennial and Gen Z. I particularly enjoy working with women (cis and trans), but I also work with people of other gender identities.
To schedule an appointment, please contact me by phone or email. Leave me a detailed message, including some times that you are available, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that my business hours are 9am-4pm Monday through Friday.
